Mount Royal

2012 Winner of Landscape Alberta’s Award of Excellence Residential Landscape Construction

One of our critical mandates for this inner city home was to minimize impact on, and keep all existing mature trees, as well as to bring more light into the house. To achieve these two items, despite their contradictory nature selective pruning of deadwood for health and shape of existing trees was completed and maximized light penetration. Natural stone proved to be a novel material for this area where we are used to seeing sandstone and rundle stone exclusively. The front yard is well appointed with a variety of Chinook hardy shrubs and perennials which give way to the mature Spruce, Pine and Ash.

  • Soft landscaping including trees, plants.

  • Pattern paver install with 3 colors and 3 sizes on pavers.
