Mount Royal

2011 Winner of Landscape Alberta’s Award of Excellence Residential Maintenance

This home, in one of Calgary's oldest communities, was developed by a true Albertan, Eugene Coste in 1912. Today it is called the Dower House and is protected by the Heritage Advisory Board 1996. Although the home has certainly had many interior and exterior renovations, our focus was the street side landscape. The gardens integrate perennials and various flowering shrubs, junipers and ornamental grasses. We worked to create a formal, meticulous landscape paying particular attention to crisp clean shrub bed, as well as detailed sidewalk grass edging and carefully shaped shrubbery and a manicured lawn.
